APW was started by Michael 'Maddness' Saunders in 2010. After 12 years of wrestling in the Alaska Wrestling Alliance, he is the former USA Champion, Alaska Champion and world champion. The only Person to have held all 3 AWA championships.
APW works with charities throughout Alaska including the Special Olympics, Boy Scouts of America, MARC, Toys for Tots, Food Bank programs and is looking into all other charities that would like to raise money for their cause. Every one has seen car washes, bake sales but pro wrestling in Alaska is a new and exciting concept in raising money for charity. It is also a very popular source of family entertainment, especially for the kids.
